This is kind of an odd one, but this video is a true example of how I approach monologues or short scenes. I get the gist of it, turn the camera on, and stumble my way into something that feels right. I never intended to post this, but when I watched it back I found it to be a very true telling of how I find authenticity in a performance. Not everything works. It's raw. But there's something to that vulnerability, I think. Something useful in seeing a process not created for observation. I'm waxing a little too artistic now, so that's my cue.
